What is Ideaz?

Ideaz is The Pan-IIT Business Idea Competition organized by E-Cell, IIT Bombay in association with various organizations in different IITs.
Ideaz is conceptualized to acquaint the student community of the much needed and exciting exercise of observing and researching the surroundings, exploring and questioning possibilities, prospects that arise and then taking and analyzing decisions in appreciation to these possibilities.

For making it a success following tasks are being undertaken to help the students.

Workshops
Workshops provide a highly interactive and collaborative setting where people can combine forces to exchange, plan and elaborate emerging business ideas. Identifying business opportunities, exploring their feasibility and applying the first reality check to examine whether any such idea would succeed in the market is an exciting process, a thorough exercise in itself that needs to be known and appreciated by all aspiring-to-be-entrepreneur students.
The Workshops under IDEAZ specifically trains students towards this exercise by telling them how and where to look for potential business ideas and once generated what is the practical and academic framework to do the first validation analysis on them.

Newsletters
Circulation of newsletter for students of IIT to motivate them towards entrepreneurship. The Newsletter will contain articles giving useful tips in management as well as technical fields.

E-Business idea
Submission of business summaries online is a unique format conceptualized for the first time at IDEAZ. The most innovative and dynamic idea takes away the cake. The complete criteria for submission is provided for the guidance of the teams and the summary of the business idea is to be completed and submitted in the prescribed format. The new feature is introduced to control the content of the summary and ensure uniformity in the submission procedure of each team.

Two weeks mentoring through our esteemed panel to the top 10 finalists Extended deadline for submission of executive summary in eureka. Additional prize money of Rs. 15000 if participants clear Eureka second stage.
