F.A.Q.

  • I want to participate in IDEAZ' 09. What should I do?
    For a start, register for IDEAZ. You will have to provide the team's detail. Once registered, you will recieve a confirmation mail.
    Please confirm your registration on the link provided. Once you are done with the confirmation you can proceed to the submission page.

  • What is the deadline to submit our business idea?
    Business ideas must be submitted by September 4th. If you are selected to advance to the second round of the competition, you will be notified by September 22, 2009.

  • Can I change my team later?
    Yes, you can change your team info and other registration details, to change it just drop a mail to praveen[at]ecell.in by the same email id you have registered, this facility is available till 1st September 2009.

  • What should I do if I didnt receive/remember the username/password?
    If you don't remember your ID or password mail praveen[at]ecell.in for assistance.

  • Can I submit more than one Entry?
    Entrants are free to submit more than one idea to the competition but you have to register diffrently to submit other entry.

  • I registered more than once for the same entry. What should I do?
    A single registration should be done for a single entry. If you have registered more than once, please mail praveen[at]ecell.in and inform him of all the registrations and select a registration you are going to use. Multiple registrations for the same entry may result in rejection of the registration.

  • Whom should I contact for assistance?
    If your query is web related (example: registration, confirmation, username/password), mail praveen[at]ecell.in for details.
    If you have a query regarding the competition in general, please contact sanket[at]ecell.in.

  • What are the key dates and deadlines?
    Please see Important Dates.

  • What size should my team be?
    Your teams can be a maximum of 4 members. You may include any IIT student in your team at all levels of education from any department.

  • Who are the judges?
    The judges for the IDEAZ' 09 competition are drawn from a wide variety of trusted sources and sponsors. All are experts in reviewing and assessing business plans.

  • How will the business plans be judged?

  • What resources are available to help in writing my business idea?
    Please see our Resources page for model idea. Teams qualifying in the first round can request a mentor from the entrepreneurial community to provide assistance and guidance in developing a successful business plan.
