Ideaz 2009 Rules

Eligibility Criteria:

• Every member of the team registering for Ideaz '09 should be a bonafide student of an IIT or a student passing out in the 2009 convocation.
• The team members can be students from different IITs.
• Any team member should not have the idea of his startup/business/company as an entry for Ideaz. Ideaz '09 is a platform strictly for new students to get the experience of entrepreneurial journey.

Guidelines:

• Participants need to login to answer or edit the questionnaire.
• Participants can edit their answer to the questionnaire till 12am of 4th of September. When the answer is edited, we hold the right to assume that it is a team decision. Hence, we are not responsible of any wrongful change in the answer by anybody within or outside the team.
• Participants can change their team information by sending a mail to praveen[at]ecell.in with the same id by which they have registered. A team can even add a team member or drop someone. This facility will be available till 1st September 2009. When the team information is edited, we hold the right to assume that it is a team decision. Hence, we are not responsible of any wrongful change in the team information by anybody within or outside the team.
• One team can send more than one Business Idea. But, the team will have to register separately for each idea that team submits. For every entry a different team name has to be chosen.
• Contestants should register online for the first round and should always use their Team Name.
• Entries need to have an innovative value whose determination is left to the judges and organizers.

Rules

• Maximum members in a team can be 4, minimum being 1.
• The last submission of the answer to the questionnaire as of 12am of 4th of September will be the one eligible for entry. Entries submitted after the deadlines will not be considered.
• Incomplete entries shall be disqualified.
• A participant can be in multiple teams.
• If business ideas submitted by two teams are nearly same then both entries shall be disqualified.
• The name given to the entry or team shall not be changed once submitted.
• The organisers hold the right to disqualify a team for any wrongful practice.
• The judges, mentors and the organizers will take the utmost care in handling the entries, and will guarantee the utmost confidence. The decision of the judges is final.
• The organizers hold the right to disqualify a team if the idea is already implemented in the market.

Final discretion is left with the E-cell team members.
All conflicts subject to jurisdiction of Mumbai Courts only.
